About us

We ran payroll the hard way first

AmplifyPay is built by Amplify Resourcing, a staffing company in Accra. For years we've placed and paid workers across Ghana — which means for years we've lived the reality of payroll here: the spreadsheets, the SSNIT and PAYE deadlines, the bulk transfers that go out at midnight, and above all, the calls that come mid-month. Someone's rent is due. A child is sick. School fees can't wait until the 28th. The money they need is money they've already earned — it just hasn't reached them yet.

We handled those moments the way most Ghanaian employers do: informal advances, IOU notes, and a finance team quietly tracking who owes what. It worked, barely, and it treated people who had done nothing wrong like they were asking for a favour. We looked for a platform that ran payroll properly and let our people reach their earned wages with dignity. We couldn't find one built for how Ghana actually pays — MoMo first, cedi-native, SSNIT-aware. So we started building the platform we wished existed.

That's AmplifyPay: payroll as the anchor, earned wage access as the benefit, and repayment that sorts itself on payday. We built it for our own teams first, which is why it sweats the unglamorous details — cut-off windows, approval chains, audit trails, and fees you can explain in one sentence. Now we're opening it to other employers in Ghana who want their people to stop waiting for money that's already theirs.
